Wondering if home birth is for you?
Home birth is an excellent option and the midwifery model of care is the recommended prenatal care model for those who are low risk and healthy.
Against most passed down fear to benefit the medical model of care, midwives are trained, skilled professionals who offer holistic care for mom and baby during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods. Responsible and trained midwives come to births with all the training and equipment for emergencies that rarely happen but are there in the event they are needed. Please consider this type of care if you are hoping for a supportive experience entering parenthood. I’d be happy to talk to you and your partner about it.
Hoping to have me on your team?
I can be a part of your care team, as a student midwife.
I would be at your prenatal appointments, home visit, and at your birth! Where can you find me:
I will be working as a student midwife at Rising Moon Midwifery beside Kate Aseron, CPM, and with Abhaile Birth and Community beside Jillian Schlacter. I feel super blessed to have landed these unique apprenticeship learning opportunities and to be a part of growing the availability of and access to midwifery in PA and NJ.
I will be pursuing my didactics through the National College of Midwifery (MEAC).
