I recently had my first baby/daughter on Jan 6th, 2024 and my experience having Brooke as my midwife was absolutely amazing!
I was inspired to have a home birth due to my sister and seeing the difference between her hospital birth with my first niece & her home birth with my second niece. When I was looking into finding a midwife I immediately knew I wanted to work with Brooke after I talked to her. She was so open and friendly and immediately made me feel at ease with some of the stress that pregnancy can bring. She was amazing and was always so full of wonderful information and encouragement throughout the entire process.

With my fourth pregnancy and being over 40, I was looking for holistic prenatal care as I did not want a clinical setting that encouraged fear and unnecessary interventions. What I loved about working with Brooke most is that you know that she truly loves what she does and it’s evident in her care for you, your baby, and your family. I learned so much from being in her care and felt at ease in preparing for labor. I never felt rushed or like I was a “high-risk” case. I’m so grateful for her emotional support as well. While we had a beautiful home water birth, we ran into high blood pressure postpartum. Brooke was fantastic about checking in with me physically and emotionally.

Brooke assisted as a student midwife during my twin homebirth, as well as my prenatal and postpartum care. She was extremely personal and showed the most kindness and care throughout the whole process out of all of our birth team. Despite being on the midwife team, Brooke’s years of doula experience shined through during labor and birth with coaching, encouragement, and tips. Brooke was not my Doula but was a part of my birth team and took part in my prenatal care during my entire pregnancy as well as my postpartum care. Brooke has a special heart. Like many FTMs, there were many times that I had worries and concerns and she was always there for me to talk through my feelings and make me feel as comfortable as she could. She has given me great advice postpartum and is someone who I am so happy I’ve connected with. I would recommend Brooke to other families!
